Skin, by its nature, is not a great conductor of electricity. As a result when we want to stimulate the nerves for electromuscular stimulation, we need to use a gel pad, applied to the skin, as a conductor.

Contour has selected the highest quality medical grade electrodes available in the world to ensure the performance and comfort of your session.

Contour Gel Pad electrodes:

• contains a pure silver conductive surface to optimize even current distribution over the entire surface of the electrode.
• are larger than competitive systems. Larger electrodes ensure a comfortable stimulation with a greater reach over more muscle and nerve fibers for maximum effectiveness.
• is coated with hydrogel that adheres well to clean dry skin, yet is easy to remove and reposition without leaving a residue.
• adhesive backing on the electrode was selected specifically for the Contour (belt) fabric and will adhere well over the useful life of the electrode. Deliberate removal to replace electrodes after their useful life is quick and easy.
• works intelligently with the Contour M2 muscle stimulator to recognize the rare loss of adhesion to the body.  The M2 responds to adjust the current flow ensuring your safety and comfort throughout the session.
• once applied to the garment, remains in place for storage between sessions. Simply apply the original liner to the surface of the gel and the electrodes will retain their moisture and tackiness for your next workout.
