I have been using the belt for about a week now and the pads are not as sticky as they were when i first started using it. Doesn't that mean they need to be replaced or is it alright that they aren't as sticky?? The electrodes or whatever they're called are still strong I just didn't know about the stickiness.

Hi,

With the gel pads, there is no correlation between stickiness and conductivity. In other words, the level of stickiness has no effect on how good the gel pads are conducting the electrical impulse.

Typically gel pads are changed every 30 - 45 days assuming daily use of the product. The electrode gel surface should be kept free of lint and oils to maximize their life. Rub a clean, damp sponge gently over the solid gel to remove any oil or debris. You can also prolong the life of the gel pads by placing the protective covers back on the gel pad after each use.

Best regards,

Try to clean it with water. Take another WET napkin and wipe it.
After use, moisten pads & replace plastic cover, then put in a ziploc bag to keep moist longer.

The conductivity is enhanced by a sticky pad. As it drys out it can hurt.

After use, moisten pads & replace plastic cover, then put in a ziploc bag to keep moist longer.
