Hello everyone,
I've just had a complete lumbar reconstruction due to a failed Workman's Comp surgery which I had a bone fusion, laminectomy and instrumentation in 2003. I just got out of the hospital which I had L1 through S1 disks replaced and rods screwed into my vertebra to hold the disks in place and also allow movement between disks. Before, back surgeries involved fusing all joints, not allowing movement. So what I'm trying to say is I've always had tight abs until my work accident in 2002 which restricted me from doing ab routines. I've found that the Ab Lounge XL worked before I went into surgery, but I saw this on TV and I had to try it for regaining my abs as a more logical approach. I'm going to show my surgeon what I purchased to see what he thinks and when I should start using this, as I'm still healing from this major back operation. Can anyone give me any suggestions or encouragement that have used this? I bought the Ab Countour Electric Stimulator with extra pads and extended warranty. Am I on the right track and what level should I start at and when? Thank you for your time and I would appreciate any input from you experienced users. :)

When I bought this, the person who I ordered from said realistically you should see results in about 3 months. I'm on my 2nd month and I do believe I do see results. I do it daily - 45 min on upper and lower. Its a gradual change but I can tell my core is getting stronger.

Good luck!

Thanks! As soon as the pain from the surgery goes away, I'm going to give it a try. It sounds like you're on your way, so I can't wait to get started. Thank you so much for your input! I feel I've made a good desicision in buying this, and I'll let you know how it goes once I get on a routine. Thanks again!
