I've had the contour system for over 30 days now and I just changed the batteries with regular AAA batteries from the store. However, the intensity is not as high as it was when I first started using the Pads. Prior to changing the batteries, 50% intensity was a lot for me ... now I'm at 100% and it's still not comparable. Is it because of the type of battery or is it time to replace the pads? I just ordered the pads and I hope to get them soon. However, does anyone know if this issue is a result of the type of battery or is this a sign that I need to replace the pads now?

Thanks.

Ya I've ran into that as well EJ. I started at 25% then gradually going to 35%, 40%..etc I've had it for nearly 10 days now and actually got it up to 100% today, so I'm curious as to whether the Gel Pads need changing? The Gel Pads don't necessarily stick anymore, but stickiness has nothing to do with it. If you still get a signal from the belt to your muscles you should be fine. At 100% I got a very good workout. The Pads have to be replaced every 30-45 sessions so roughly a month if used once a day. So, if you've been using it for nearly a month now, the pads should be replaced.
