I am really unhappy with this product -- I have no results with lots of hours and efforts logged. I have had some results lately with Jillian Michaels 30-day Shred program -- no gimmicks, just good old-fashioned sweat and work.

I realized after "shredding" for 2 weeks that I was actually getting results and I hadn't been using the contour which is when I called to return my product. Because I was 2 weeks out of the return "window" I am being made to keep the product even though I an unhappy with it.

I wonder how many hundreds of thousands of dollars this company has made because they do not stand behind their product.

I am a working mother, running a household and trying to stay fit. I can't always get to things when I need to (like calling in time to return a propduct,) but I can't afford to spend $200.00 on a piece of junk that will gather dust on my shelf because IT DOESN'T WORK!!!

To whom It May Concern,

I've had some injuries, which left me without the ability to work out in a normal way. No sit ups or any thing that put strain on my abs, or back, but this was the was around my issues of not being able to do crunches. So when I got my contour, and started using it. I was skeptical, still all the while delighted to be able to start doing something to help my self, and get back to the betterment of my journey through life. Any one who has went through injuries has probably went through electrical muscular stimulation which is similar to the contour belt. I have a intense amount of pain with fybromyalgia and it seems to help ease the getting started session on getting better. Thank You For Helping Me Help Me. I had a problem with my belt as I was wearing it while doing my daily chores, the unit fell out of my belt, after I located my purchase date they happily hooked me back up while I was still under the 1 year warranty. I hope you don't just let yours gather dust, because there results even though you can't always see them, it may be that it just starts to begin to get a little easyer to bend or pick up something.

Best of Health, have a safe, and joyous journey.

Truly,

Susan,

Ohio

I'm a Spin Instructor and Yoga instructor. I used to go to a chiropractor and spend 45.00 for 1/2 hour using this same thing. I had said to him where can I get one of these muscle stimulator things and he told me the machine he uses cost 2500.00 bucks. I'm really happy with the power of this machine. I'm actually impressed with the amount of crunch. I didnt think it would be this strong. It has surpassed my expectations. I did have a slight problem figuring out how to use the back stimulator along with the front stimulator. I couldnt find the instructional video. I called customers service and they showed me it was on the first page of the site. Not sure why its not with the tabs up on top of the page?? Again I'm happy and athletic. I hope the stimulator works a long time. I am handling it with care. I would recommend a better more durable casing for the stimulation control. Seems kinda weak. I dont plan on leaving the house with it. If I felt comfortable with its durability I might bring it to the gym.

You cant just rely on this to cure your abs you have to do some work. If your expectations are to high you will be disappointed. Eat right, work out and include this as part of your routine as a supplement not a cure all.

I am a esthetician and we use mirrocurrents in are electrotherapy facials they do work they mimic the electrical empluses of the motor nerves causing a contraction same as if you were to do a sit up. I disagree with you it does work i use it and like the results i am getting, but yeah you should be doing cardio and other stuff too its not to be used in place of that its to boost your results dah i thought everyone new that...

THANK YOU, Susan, for bringing up FIBROMYALGIA. I have wretched back pain every moment of every day (as well as every other muscle in my body!). I was hoping to see a post about the Contour perhaps helping with the muscle pain of Fibro. I have done 4 ab workouts so far, and just tried putting the pads on my lower back for the first time. After 45 minutes of use, I feel nearly PAIN FREE in my lower back for the first time in 7+ years.

FABULOUS!

amen. the sales people ought to be better traied to answer questions . i asked specifically about heart problems and the lady told me that it wouldnt bother a heart condition. well husband used it for 2 weeks, and now is in heart failure. even thou we read the instructions and called back to the co. when we saw the part about heart conditions, AGAIN we were told it didnt relate to husbands problem... so he used it...
now they ( the co.) is holding out not to re-fund all that money... even thou i did get it back to them with in the time frame they set in the RULES...
if i could warn just one person about the dangers of this so called wonder belt i will. it is a glorified tens unit... any pain clinic or doc will tell you all it does is make more blood flow so thus... the muscles contract... people with PAIN. ..seem to feel better... of course they will.... its a tens unit..
dang... i cant understand how we fell for this hook line a sinker...contour... you ought to be asamed and i hope you all can still sleep well at night selling this crapola to people who are looking for a better way... for what ever reasons... but the bottom line is... you all are making millions of dollars... i wonder how many others are hurt by you and your electric belt ???

Susie..did you attend any educational facility? Seriously..did you learn how to read??????? I read at least 4 times in less than 2 minutes that if you have any heart conditions at all, pregnant, injuries, etc...that you are NOT to use this product. Do not blame others for something that is YOUR fault. Sorry about your husband, but had you or he simply read the materials that came with this product, you would have seen it.

Hope you all do well. Oh, and of course a doctor will tell you not to use something like this.. They pay many 1000's of dollars for them. They don't want you to have access to one cheaper. And yes, I know what I am talking about. My brother is a Dr and I know what he paid for his unit. My mother is a physical therapist and the ones she uses every day are insane expensive. She checked out this the day I got it..and said it does exactly the same thing all the ones she has does.

Any doctor that told you it just manipulates blood flow should be sued for malpractice...or at least for being a moron. Maybe you should also learn what a tens unit does. It manipulates the muscles. THIS causes more blood flow. NOT the other way around.

Ignorance like yours is why companies spend millions on legal people and totally unnecessary instructions (like, don't use while in water....) Thus, this is why we pay the amounts we pay.. Thanks!

I have Mitral Valve Prolapse...not bad but I do have skipped beats etc. (not the bad irregular ones though) and I take the lowest dose of beta blocker for a rapid HB. I called the cardiologist this morning because I did read the manual. I called the Contour support and they advised me that they could not tell me to use it and to call the cardiologisit--I am waiting on call...but went ahead with the lowest intensity and loved it! I hope I can continue on with it!
