I just ordered my belt so I really have no idea when I'll receive it since I'm cheap and won't pay for express shipping.

Anyhow, my question is, I walk A LOT!! I try to take my son out in his stroller for at least an hour in the morning and an hour in the evenings. Can I wear the belt while walking hard? Or can that be a bad thing? I know the lady in the commercial is wearing it while doing housework, but... Housework isn't as much as a hard walk.

Also, I live in Phoenix where today's hig (9/26/09) was 105. Will sweat and/or excessive heat create problems for the belt?

I sat by my pool in the sun during one session and some of the gel had melted and was coming off from the pad! I don't think walking would be a problem at all but if it's really hot out just keep an eye on your pads to make sure they don't dissolve.

I just received my new Contour belt, installed it after watching the video on their Website, went for my morning walk. The temp was 72 so I did not sweat. I am curious what will happen under warmer temps too while walking wearing the belt.
The only nuisance I noticed as a first time user was the vibrations were so tingly they made me go to the potty too soon, cutting my morning walk short. Oh, well...I will have to adjust by not drinking so much water prior to going out for the walk wearing this new belt!

Hey!

Walking while using the belt is a great exercise! Don't run or jog though.
The reason to Dominicb your pads melted was because of steady direct sunlight. Dont store your belt in it either, the pads do 'melt'. Gibber, try moving the belt a bit up or down if you get the sensation to go to the washroom. I got it too once and moving the belt up took care of it.
