How many batteries are used at a time?

How long will the system keep going if it was turned on at full power continuously?

I noticed a competitor has a charging system. Are there plans to enhance the Contour system with battery charging? I'd hate to be tied to purchasing batteries for forever.

Can rechargeable batteries be used in the system?

My daughter let me try hers and it felt great and I felt "skinny for a day" 'til the muscles relaxed. I also think it would be wonderful for back pain as I have actually had the medical version used on my neck in the early 1980's.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for your comments.

The Contour Core Sculpting System uses and comes with four industrial AAA alkaline batteries. The battery life is rated 20 hours at 100% intensity.

Yes, rechargeable batteries can be used with the Contour muscle stimulator. Due to their long life and strong power charge cycle, it is best to use high capacity NiMH rechargeable batteries.

One disadvantage of a rechargeable battery system is replacement costs. Once the battery system wears out, replacing a battery system can cost $100.00 or more, depending on what type of battery system (i.e. cell phone battery) the electronic device is using. Plus, you have to wait around for the battery system to recharge.

With the Contour Core Sculpting System, you can use rechargeable AAA batteries and if have a spare set of fully charged batteries available, there is no waiting time between sessions.

By adding the Back Care Kit to the CoreBelt, you can give your core a complete 360-degree workout. The Back Care Kit is an accessory you can purchase. It can be used to strength your lower back and mid-back or you can use it for a soothing back massage.

Using the rechargable AAA NiMH batteries is the way to go w/ this system. I bought two sets of 4 and just rotate them - so I'm never w/out low charged batteries. Plus I feel good about 'being green'.

how often do I need to replace the batteries? My battery life is at 50% and I'm wondering if I'm losing something in the 45 min period due to the lack of batteries being at full strength, anyone know?

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to change the batteries. I trust they are in the control unit and not the belt. I'm stumped. Help:)

There's a 'tab' on the clip. Pull it up while pulling the clip down at the same time. (I think thats how I did it)

I was trying to find the answer on the how to change batteries too and was frustrated to find this...no help ..

so I went back and banged on the thing until I figured it out.
